Special Events

The Blue Water Grill frequently hosts large groups, rehearsal dinners, weddings, and other special events. With seating up to 80 in the restaurant and 150 with tables set up on the beach we can accommodate events of all sizes. Please read on to learn more about how to arrange an event at our restaurant.

For all types of events that will include 20 or more people, we ask that the party host select one of our four set banquet menus. These menus do not require that you pre-order for your guests. Each of the four menu options allows your guests to choose one of two appetizers and one of three entrees. The dessert will be the same for everyone.

All special events are seated. Tables are set with white tablecloths and vibrant table runners. Each place setting has a water glass, silverware, bread plates, and colorful cloth napkins. We also place oil and vinegar bottles for bread dipping, salt and pepper shakers, candles, and fresh flowers (when available) on each table. We also create a personalized menu and print it on nice card stock for each of your guests. The entire restaurant can be bought out to host a private party. There is a buy out fee that is based on the time of year and the number of people in the group. Please email us for more information.

If a private party has rented out the Blue Water Grill for the night, then a band or a DJ can by hired. The SunBreeze Hotel asks that the music end at 10:30pm out of consideration for their hotel guests.

Please note that the Blue Water Grill does not provide wedding cakes or other large cakes but we can recommend local bakers.

Also note that the Blue Water Grill does not do catering but we have people we can recommend. Wine de Vine can provide large party platters with fine cheeses, meats, olives, and fresh bread. They also prepare wonderful gift baskets can can host private wine tastings and wine lessons. For more information please contact Flor at Wine de Vine.
